Christmas Decorations

These decorations really look (and smell) lovely, especially with the added ‘bling’ of crystals and little bells. This picture doesn’t do the justice. But make one and see for yourself!

They are quick and easy to make and once you have made one or two, you will never buy store-bought Christmas decorations for your tree again....

Picture Tiles

Add a 3rd dimension to a textile picture to create a stunning picture. Practice with smaller pictures like this one first to get a feel for what you are doing, then you can go bigger and more impressive.

This picture was completed using printable fabric, printable organza, stitch-n-shape, wadding and a backing fabric (all available from our shop).

Other application for this method, could be small picture tiles for a child’s book, that you make yourself. Include pictures of mum and dad, grandparents, siblings, pets etc.

Chalk Notice Board

Imagine fabric that you can write on and wipe off again just like a chalk board. This new fabric allows you to make very personalized chalk-boards for family and friends. Kids will especially love these boards, so get your thinking cap on and figure out how you will frame this board, so it fits the person or place you are making it for.

Make one for the kitchen to scribble down notes, for the kids playroom, the office or even the toilet - who knows what people get inspired to write....! Have fun.

Thinga-ma-bag

We’ve made little bags for years, but this one is special! This is a Thinga-ma-bag! You can put anything in it and do anything with it! It is mostly just fun.

Pillow Cummerbunds

Give your lounge or bedroom a quick make-over with some quick and easy pillow cummerbunds. The cummerbunds wrap around your pillows and cushions and add contrast or accent to a basic fabric.

Or you can focus on the cummerbund closure by wrapping a plain-coloured cummerbund with and elaborate closure to a patterned cushion. Use this project to experiment with new sewing techniques, fabrics and embroidery.
