Happy Mother's Day

First of all, we do want to wish all the mums and mother-figures out there a really wonderful mother’s day on Sunday. We hope you get spoilt by those around you and if not - do it yourself. Why not - you deserve it!

If you are looking for a last minute something for the mother (or mothers) in your life, come and have a look at our little organza-gifts filled with goodies for the sewer. They are also a great idea for the stalls at school as we have them in all different price-ranges.

If you are thinking of something more substantial (or wishing for it for your-self) why not consider our Gift-Vouchers. Isn’t it so much better to give something that they really want, rather than hoping that what you have picked is something they can use. Leaving hints of Gift-Vouchers out for Hubby or bigger children (i.e. print out this Newsletter and highlight the Gift-Voucher Section and leave copies of it in conspicuous places) could work well in your own case!!!

Our May class schedule is published and we hope to have our June schedule out soon, so you can plan ahead with your classes. Our workshop with Anne Van der Kley is booked out for this Friday and we only have 1 or 2 spaces left for her workshop on the 4th July, so if you are at all interested, now is the time to book your seat. The Workshop with Wendy Scott and the Inca Trails is also very close to being booked out, so if you are interested in a fun and vibrant day with Wendy, get your name on the list now!

And now, the best for last....

We know it has been a while since our last Newsletter and you could be excused for thinking we had fallen of the face of the earth - we haven’t! - and the reason for our tardiness has been the rather big news we have:

We have now acquired the Janome Shop in Maitland and moved it to Greenhills shopping Centre ( shop 1 4a Garnett St. East Maitland).

It is still staffed by the VERY capable staff who have been running it for years, but with a bigger shop and Sally at the helm, there will naturally be some expansion and extensions to what they have had previously.

We must stress, that although Zig Zag Sewing now also stock Janome, it will ONLY be in the Maitland shop and not in our Georgetown shop (or Head-office as us Georgetown girls like to call it).
So we hope you come and visit us in both shops as we have a different range of stock in each place.
