Happy Easter

As usual we have rain for Easter! What a great opportunity to get start some new sewing or embroidery projects or even finish off something that has been lying around for a while.

If you need some inspiration for something new, have a look at our new Embroidery Club web-page. You will find plenty of projects to keep you off the streets for a while and each project actually teaches you new techniques or new application of older ‘tried and true’ techniques. And not only do you get new embroidery designs for a very low price (multi-formatted) but the ideas and applications can be transformed into many other areas!

Workshops

We are also very excited about our 2 up-coming workshops.

One is with Anne Van Der Kley, the overlocking Queen, which we had to postpone last year due to the flood.
We now have her booked for 2 days - one in May and one in July. If you did book in for her class last year and paid your deposit, you will still have your seat reserved - just let us know which class you wish to attend.
If you haven’t yet booked in, be quick. One class is already nearly full and we will only take a limited number of students so that everyone gets value for money.

Our other workshop is with Wendy Scott. We have had many calls for Wendy to teach her delightful and colourful quilts, so cross of a day in May to attend her class. It is suitable for both beginning quilters and more experienced quilters.
