At Zig Zag we attend ongoing training and seminars so that we can be of better service to you. Whenever possible we will try to solve your problem while you are in our store. If this is not possible, we have trained mechanics and staff with various fields of expertise which can assist you with any machine or sewing-related problem.

Machine Servicing and Repairs

We service and repair most brands of sewing machines, overlockers and ironing presses.

We recommend all machines are serviced every 12 - 18 months even if you haven't been using it.

Free Lessons with every Machine Purchased

We  will gladly teach you how to use your new machine, because we are keen to get more people sewing. The more confident you are with the use of your machine, the more you will use it ... and then we have achieved our goal of having more people sewing.

Classes and Workshops

Sewing is about being creative and having fun. Well, it is hardly about saving money these days as you can buy most things 'Made in China' for a fraction of the cost  of making your own. But you can save money if you need something special, something with designer-touches, a 'one-off' and something very personal, whether for yourself or as a gift. Plus the satisfaction that comes from having created something that makes other people go: 'Did YOU make that?' is ... well priceless!

If you can't make it to the shop, we're happy to post  out to you. Just call us on (02) 4960 2426 (Georgetown) or (02)49336800 (Greenhills) with your credit card details and we will post your products to you within 24 hours, providing we have them in stock. So now you never need to run out of thread, stabalisers, bobbins, needles etc. We are just a phone call away.
