Overlocking Workshop

 This series of workshops run over 4 weeks and helps you master your overlocker. The course includes care and maintenance of your overlocker, threading, working with various fabrics, turning inside- and outside corners, flatlocking, decorative finishes and much more. By the end of the course you will have a project to take home, using all the techniques you have learned.

Quilt As You Go Class with Pam

Have you ever wondered how to do the quilt as you go method? Quilt as you go refers to the method of piecing together a block, adding the wadding and backing and completing the quilting before moving on to another block. This method is a very easy way of completing a quilt today. Our homes don't always have the space to accommodate a large quilting frame. Come along and give this method a try. You will be amazed at how easy and fast it can be to complete a family heirloom with Pam. Pam has a sample quilt that is quick and easy for you to learn this method. Quilting Techniques

If you've always wanted to quilt, but have been scared off by the free-motion stippling part, then this is for you. In this 2-part course you will learn various techniques like cross-hatch, echo quilting and stippling.

Get the most out of your embroidery software by joining these classes. Learn the tips and tricks to create beautiful and unique embroideries for garments, home decor and gifts.

We now offer separate classes for those who have 4D Embroidery Artist or 4D Embroidery Suite.

Dressmaking

Learn to create your own clothes at a fraction of the price of designer-clothes. Learn how to read patterns, insert zippers, apply waistbands, insert sleeves and much more. You decide what you want to sew (appropriate to your skill-level) and just come and keep on learning.

Creative Diva's

Learn your machine. These machines have so many functions and most of us never explore the full use of what they can do. These classes vary between demonstration and hands on. It's best to either email or call the shop to find out what exciting new technique we are learning each month.Notes will be provided.
